Vernon Collett and his family moved to Paulding County 12 years ago after he moved here from Cobb County where he resided the majority of his life. He graduated from South Cobb High School and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a Minor in Banking and Finance from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. Vernon has worked in the Financial Services Industry and currently owns his own business, Kinsman Wealth Educators.

Vernon has spent many years serving and minstering to others. He enjoyed working with children as a coach for nine years while his son played recreational baseball. He has served in a leadership capacity and as a Sunday School Teacher for many years in the last two churches where he worshipped. He worked for several years as a volunteer for Angel Food Ministeries. Vernon recently assisted Samaritan's Purse with their efforts to help flood victims in 2009. He is currently actively involved in Paulding County Right to Life and in his local church as a Small Group Ministry Leader. He is also a member of the NRA and the Paulding County Republican Party.

Vernon has been married to Deborah Sibley Collett for 17 years. He has three children Cameron, age 21, Amanda, age 13, and Ashley, age 11. Vernon is passionate about his faith, his family and his country. He is a man of integrity and would appreciate the opportunity to serve the citzens of Paulding County.
